has had 30 years of experience in the field of education. She is
B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD holder in education/method and technology of

served as the principal of the British School, New Delhi and of
Women’s Polytechnic, New Delhi, India. She has also taught

present she is the academic advisor of all Indian Embassy
schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. |
Ms.
Pallavi Banerjee,
She started her teaching career
with MSc students at DAVV University. She had the distinction of
being the state level topper in BEd and started teaching at DAV
School, India and then joined Delhi Public School, Mumbai. She
served as PGT Biology and held other posts of responsibilities
such as being the Coordinator for Grade X, Head of the
Department, Member of Student Admission Committee, Member of
Teachers Selection Committee and being the House Warden. She was
adjudged the third best teacher amongst all CBSE schools at
Mumbai in 2006-2007. |

Shams
had Ahmed Nadwi completed his education from a well known
institute of Arabic language in Lucknow, the Nadwatul Ulema.
After his graduation in Arabic literature, he did a three years
course in Arabic (Mahadulloghah) from Imam University, Riyadh,
Saudi Arabia. He is a good speaker of Arabic and Urdu and has
organized various functions on Jamshedpur T.V and Lucknow T.V
and conducted various programs in Kolkata and Jamshedpur. He is
associated with Delhi Public School, Riyadh as an Arabic teacher
and head of the department of Arabic since last four years.

Saba Tanveer,
I was born in Madhya Pradesh,
India. I have traveled around and studied in various schools. I
did my graduation with literature and psychology and later did
my Post Graduation from one of the known university of Madhya
Pradesh. Learning and teaching were my passion from my early
years. I was able to pursue them simultaneously along with my
education. For me teaching is not just a profession, it is a way
of life. I believe that ‘Teachers are those who use themselves
as bridges, over which they invite students to cross them having
facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them
to create a bridge of their own.’ I am happy and proud to be a

Nahid Ahmed Taha,
Working with D.P.S. Riyadh was a
dream come true for Nahid Ahmed Taha, who wears an aura of
sobriety around her face. She was born and brought up in Sudan.
She completed her Teaching Qualification from Sudan’s esteemed
Computer College, Khartoum to become an exemplary teacher.
Arabic language is her forte. Being a devoted teacher she always
tries to explore innovative method of teaching. Her efforts for
the students’ betterment portray a clear and transparent picture
of her character as a teacher. |
Ghousia Ameena,
I was born and brought up in
Hyderabad. Being the first girl child in my family I was the
centre of love and affection. My father has been a guide and my
best friend since my childhood. I completed my graduation from
St. Ann’s College and soon after it I got married. Teaching has
always been my priority as a career and every day spent in Delhi
Public School is a learning experience for me. I believe that
“Education must not only touch the minds but also the hearts of

I I was born and brought up in

Tamilnadu and Hidhayathul Islam Higher Secondary School,
Kadayanallur. Moreover, he has worked as Quality Control
In-charge (Materials Division) in Al-Ayuni Road Contracting
Company, Riyadh, KSA, for 3 years. |

Sultana
was born in Hyderabad and brought up in Riyadh, KSA. She

is one of our SAG teachers in the primary sections. She
was born in Mumbai, but was brought up and educated in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She did her schooling from the
International Indian School, Riyadh. She has been a bright

career as a teacher in an Arabic School where she taught a group
of intermixed children from various parts of Gulf. She is still

Madhusudhan
is one our computer faculty members. Born in
Tamilnadu, she was educated in St.Ann’s school Secunderabad and
graduated in Life Sciences from St.Francis College, Hyderabad.
Being a scholarship holder she ventured into the fields of
computers and completed her post graduate Diploma in Computer
Applications from Madurai Kamaraj University and Management
studies from Pune. She has worked as a trainer with NIIT. She
has also been a managerial cadre in the field of E-Learning with
the General Electric (GE) for 6 years. |
Diwakar
Singh
is one of our Maths and Science teachers and the Head of
the Department of the Science wing in the school. He was born
and educated in the steel city of Bokaro. Later, he joined the
Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneshwar and completed the
Integrated B.Sc. and B.Ed. in 2002. Since then he has been
associated with the DPS Society schools. |

Edress
is one our dedicated Arabic teachers. She was born and
brought up in Cairo, Egypt. Having completed her elementary
schooling she went to Sudan to obtain higher education from the
University of Khartoum. She holds a Diploma in Teaching of
Arabic from the Arabic Studies Institute, Cairo, Egypt. |

Afreen
is one of our junior wing teachers. She hails from
Gulbarga, Karnataka. She is a product of St.Joseph’s Convent
School and the president of the school union. She graduated in
Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India.
She also holds a Diploma in System Management from Aptech
Computers. She has handled responsible professions like hospital
administration, writing and teaching. |

Francis Xavier
is the music teacher in the school, who hails
from Chennai. He acquired his basic education at St. Bede’s
Anglo Indian School, Chennai. He excelled himself in Western
Music from the Musee Musicals, Chennai, which is affiliated to
the Trinity College, London. He has been a member of the troupe
called ‘Sangamam’ and has broken the Guinness record by playing
key-board for 24 hours 40min. He has been training students in
music to The International Examination Board. He also holds a

Ausaf Khan
is one of our Hindi Faculty members in the school. He
was born at Asswan in the district of Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
Having completed his elementary education from a government
school he joined the esteemed Aligarh University for his higher
education. He pursued his B.A., M.A. in Hindi and B.Ed. from the
same University. He has been a good actor and cricket player and

Dilip Krishnan, one of our Social Studies teachers was born and
brought up in Delhi. Soon after her schooling she procured her
graduation and B.Ed. degree from Sardar Patel University,
Gujarat. She has been one of the proud recipients of the INTEL
National Award-2006 for the Best Integration of Technology in
Education. She has also done a specialized course in Pattern
Making from NIFT and Apparel Manufacturing from ATDC, Bangalore.
She had been associated with NGOs in Delhi and a leading Fashion
House in Bangalore, before taking up teaching as profession. She
started her career in teaching as a primary teacher in Gujarat.

Clifford Ablett
completed her

Lonavala, India. After completing her graduation in English
literature from the University of Kerala, she headed straight to
the workplace for starting a professional career in the
corporate world. She worked for eight years for a leading
telecommunications corporate, in their regional office at
Cochin, Kerala. Through her eight years of rich corporate
experience, she developed and honed her management skills in
customer service and training through quality education systems.
She has a flair for Indian languages, enjoy being with the

is from Patna, India. He completed his schooling from H.E.C
Higher Secondary School, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The flair of
Mathematics led him to Ranchi University, from where he
completed his post graduation in Mathematics. He started his
teaching career from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ghatshila straightway
after getting his B.Ed degree from Ranchi University.
Fascinating for higher goals attracted him to join Delhi Public
School, Bokaro as a Mathematics teacher in 1993. He has also
worked at the Delhi Public School, Patna as a Head of the
department of Mathematics. He joined the DPS, Riyadh in 2007. |

is one of
the science teachers of DPS, Riyadh. She has completed her

at Hyderabad, India. To her credit she was appointed as the

Tariq Khan
is a B.A (hons) in sociology from IGNOU and has a certificate in
teaching from the same university and has a Bachelor of Library
and Information Science degree to his credit. He also holds a
M.A degree in sociology from Jamil Millia Islamia University,
New Delhi and a Master of Library and Information Science degree
from U.P.R.T.O.U, India. He has had several years of experience
working as a librarian at the Aligarh Muslim University Central
Library, Aligarh, India.

Jaafer
has a passion for children and teaching ever since she started

is a Social Studies teacher. He did his schooling from Arshia

further went ahead excelling his academic qualification by
pursuing his B.Ed and Masters from Osmania University,
Hyderabad. He possesses an invaluable experience of working in
two schools Don Bosco High School and Sister Nivedeta High
School in Andhra Pradesh. Besides, he has been an invaluable
cricketer who was a zonal captain and played for the South Zone.

Jayraj Dcruze
has joined the DPS family as physical education teacher. He is
an Arts graduate from Osmania University and holds a Diploma in
Physical Education from Sri Venkateshwara University, Andhra
Pradesh and also holds the Bachelors Degree in Physical
Education from Marathawada University Maharashtra, India. To his
credit he has successfully completed the Commissioned Officer
Course at the Officers Training School at Nagpur, Maharashtra
and worked as a troop commander in 1 (A) Armoured Squadron NCC
unit, Secunderabad, from 1994 to 2006. He also has a rich
experience for over a decade having worked as physical education
teacher for a reputed institution at Hyderabad. |

Zaidi is
a post graduate in Drawing and Painting from Meerut University,
and B.Ed from Aligarh Muslim University. She has qualified the
All India National Education Test (NET) and was awarded the
Junior Research Fellowship which was later converted into Senior
Research Fellowship by the University Grants Commission. As a
Research Fellow she taught at Postgraduate level. She also
taught at various levels in Indian Air Force School, Delhi,
India and Indian International School, Riyadh. She has 18 years
of teaching experience an many art exhibitions to her credit. |

belongs to Kashmir and is a science graduate with masters in
English Literature. She has worked as a lecturer in Tyndale
Biscoe School, Srinagar. She joined the DPS, Riyadh in 2007 as
an English Teacher. |

has done her Post Graduation in English from Mysore University,
India. She is also a M.Ed and has worked as a lecturer in
Maulana Azad B.Ed college and also as an ad-hoc lecturer Afmi
P.U College, Karnataka. |

has done her M.Sc (Biotechnology) from CCS University, Meerut
and B.Sc (Hons) Zoology from University of Delhi. Before joining
the DPS, she worked with S. Chand Technology Pvt. Ltd. for or an
e-learning project of Uttaranchal Government as a Subject Matter
Expert (Biology). |

Noor is a
Post Graduate in Geography from Aligarh Muslim University,
Aligarh and B.ED from St. Xavier’s College of Education, Patna.
She has had teaching experience of over five years. |
Shamshad
Ahmad Qasmi
is a Post Graduate in Islamic Studies from Islamic University
Darul Uloom, Deoband, India and from Jamia urdu, Aligarh Muslim
University, India. He specializes in Hifz Al Qur’an, Ten
Readings of the Qur’an (Qir’at Ashara Kubra), Qir’at Shadah, One
year Special Course in Comparative Religion, and has teaching
experience of 20 years. |
Shazia
Shaikh
has done her basic schooling from Emirates English Speaking
School, Dubai, after which she moved back to India to complete
her Graduation in Commerce from the University of Pune. She then
went onto pursue a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
from Arya Vidya Mandir Institute of Education, Mumbai. During
this period, as a trainee teacher, she taught pre-primary topics
related to language, arts and poetry, organised and executed
lesson plans for different levels of pre-primary section and
also participated in campaign held in various places in
Maharashtra, India. |

Naz was
born in Uttar Pradesh and brought up in Riyadh. She did her
schooling from International Indian school and her graduation in
political science from Aligarh Muslim university and NTT
(nursery teachers training) from Delhi. |
Shyna
Saif is
from Kolkatam West Bengal, India. She did her schooling from a
renowned convent school and to pursue higher studies, she went
to Aligarh Muslim University. She holds a Bachelors degree in
Psychology (Hons), Masters and M. Phil in Social Work from the
same institution. She has qualified the UGC NET Examination for
Lectureship in Social Work.

Sumathi
Gururaj
is from Bangalore, India. She has done her graduation in
Commerce from University of Madras and also holds a Diploma in
Montessori-cum-Nursery Teacher’s Training. She has worked as an
Administrative Assistant with Ministry of Urban Affairs,
Government of India, New Delhi for a period of 10 years. She has
done freelance teaching – conversational skills in English to
the elderly in Berne, Switzerland during her stay there
(2001-2004). Later she joined the Kindergarten Wing of a public
school in Bangalore (April 2005 – May 2007) before joining the
Delhi Public School, Riyadh in August 2007. During my teaching
assignments I have taken active part in organizing sports and
cultural activities of the Kindergarten Wing. |

Justus is
from Kerala. She did her Graduation in Mathematics from
Assumption College Changnacherry Kerala (affiliated to MG
University) and Post Graduation from SB College (MG University
Kerala) and achieved distinction in Post Graduation. She also
holds a Bachelor degree in education from Kerala University. She
started her career with St Mary’s Residential school (ICSE)
Kerala, teaching Maths in higher grades. |

is a Post Graduate in Mathematics from Rohilkhand University,
India and a B. Ed from M.D. University, India. He has worked as
Lecturer in Mathematics in Jamia Senior Secondary School Jamia
Millia Islamia University, New Delhi and taught in God’s Grace
School, Abul Fazal Enclave, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi. |
Umamaheshwari
Venkatraman
is a B. Sc graduate and a diploma holder in Montessori Education
from MMI, Singapore. She has worked as a Montessori teacher JHS
primary school in Singapore and an art teacher in GIIS (Global
Indian International School), Singapore. |

Bano was
brought up in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. She did her
schooling from Carmel School and graduation in Science from
Gorakhpur University. She has a diploma in Computer application
from NIIT, Delhi. She believes that ‘Teaching is the best way of
learning’ and loves to spend her time with children as they are
a blessing in disguise for mankind. |

School, Karachi Pakistan. She did her B.A from the Karachi
University. She has several years of experience in the field of
teaching in English medium schools in Pakistan. We are glad to

primary teachers training from Princess Esin’s Women’s
Educational Centre. She has twelve years of experience as a pre
primary. She has also worked for one year in Middle East
International School, Riyadh. |

Reji has done her BA, MA and Bed courses from Kerala University,
India. She has cleared the University Grants Commission Junior
Research Fellowship and has twelve years of teaching experience
in Kerala. |

Batra is a Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) Graduate in Nutrition
and Dietetics from Madras University, India. She's a University
rank holder for batch of 1997. She has further completed her
Higher Diploma in Software engineering (HDSE) from APTECH. She
has worked for three years in Citibank Cards at Chennai and
under-gone six months Primary Teachers' Training Course in Royal

Baig dis her schooling gfrom St. Anns High School, Hyderabad and
is a B.Com and a B.Ed degree holder from Osmania University,
Hyderabad India. She loves teaching and has chosen this vocation

Kerala and completed her master degree from the same university.

a teacher and has several years of experience in various fields

Trivedi has done M.A. from Binoba Bhave University, Jharkhand
and B.Ed from M.D.University Rohatak, Haryana. She has more than
four years of teaching experience of Hindi and Sanskrit. |
Shalini
M. Nair is a Commerce Graduate from Bombay University and has
also passed the SOG examination conducted by the Comptroller and
Auditor General of India (an examination considered to be
equivalent to ICWA). She brings with her fifteen years of
working experience, out of which thirteen years are in Mumbai,
holding various senior positions in a Central Government
Department and two years in Riyadh as a teacher. She has a
passion for teaching and was involved in her family run coaching
classes in Mumbai right after her graduation. |

with Bihar University India. She has worked in Al Yasmin

completed her Master’s in Commerce, securing first Class
division from Karnatak University, India. She has a Diploma in
Computer Data Management. Her teaching experience consists of
two years of work in Beladi International School, Jeddah. |
Trabelsi
Awatef is from Tripoli. She completed her primary and secondary
schooling from French Schools in Tunisia. She graduated from
Institute Bourguiba School for Language and is a proficient
French teacher having several years of teaching experience in
that subject. |
