Razia Munawar,
I was born and brought up in the beautiful and Nawabi city of
Hyderabad. I did my M.A in Urdu from the Osmania University and
then went on to do Pandit training from the same University. I
am married and have one son and my husband works at King Faisal
Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. I arrived in Saudi
Arabia in 1990 and worked as an Urdu teacher at the
International Indian School for eight years. Apart from teaching
I was involved in conducting cultural activities of the school.
Teaching to me is not a profession, it means a lot more than
that, I believe that the children are our future and it s our
duty to nurture these kids with the best of knowledge and
character. After parents, the teachers have the maximum impact
on a child’s upbringing. I enjoy traveling and I think it
broadens a person’s horizon and perspective, it also give a
chance to interact with people and promotes understanding. It’s
my privilege to join the Delhi Public School, Riyadh and I hope
to contribute significantly towards the progress of this
institution in whatever way possible. |
