Sarah Sultan,
I am a postgraduate trained teacher with ten years of teaching
experience. Before joining the Delhi Public School, Riyadh, I
was working in DPS, Bhopal, M.P India, since its inception in
the year 2000 as an Academic Supervisor of the Kindergarten
Section. I also worked in West Wind Kindergarten, Bhopal and the
Embassy of India School, Jeddah.
I come from a family where education and politics blended
perfectly together. My Mother was the first Muslim woman MLA and
joined politics in the days of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime
Minister of India. She served the people of India for nearly
four decades as Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
My father was the City Mayor and Administrator in Bhopal. In
spite of their busy public life my parents spent a lot of
quality time with us disseminating knowledge, cultural values
and moral ethics.
I did my Higher Secondary CBSE from Lady Irvin School, New
Delhi, Political Science (Honors) from Jesus and Mary College,
Delhi University, Masters of Arts in Political Science from
Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, and Bachelor of
Education, full time course from Bhopal University. I am
computer literate and have done CPISM from Aptech Computers,
Bhopal.
I produced and also acted in the TV serial ‘Panchtantra Se’,
with Salma Sultan, fourteen episodes of which were telecast on
the Doordarshan, National Television Network of India. I was the
host for many cultural programs on various channels of the
National Television. I have directed and worked in various plays
and ballets with Ms. Shovana Narayan.
My husband is an engineer and Founder Member and Editor in Chief
of International Management Forum, actively involved in doing
various academic activities like seminars, workshops and
training programs and other events which have made news in the
Saudi press several times. |
